FRANKLIN CIVIC OPERETTA PRESENTS NEXT ON THE MAIN STAGE

“Froggy" LeSeuer visits a rural Georgia camp and brings Charlie, a shy young man with him. He tells everyone that Charlie is from a foreign country and speaks no English. Once alone Charlie overhears more than he should—the evil plans of a sinister minister; that the minister's fiancée is pregnant; and other revelations made thinking that Charlie doesn't understand a word being said. What he does fuels nonstop hilarity and sets up the climax in which things awry for the "bad guys," and the "good guys" emerge triumphant.

Starring Ed Ramage, Christian Marshall, Peg Hennessy, Ted Smith, Carissa McClintock, Tom Last and Aaron Ritsig.

Written by Larry Shue and directed by Bill Trimble.
