Bio

John McConnell has been active with FCOA since the summer of 1966. Since that time, he has acted, directed, conducted, served as a board member/chairman, produced, and even spent five and a half years as general manager of FCOA’s Barrow-Civic Theatre. John has appeared with other companies such as Pittsburgh Civic Light, Community Playhouse of Oil City, Theatre Now, North Clarion Players, and The Arlington Players. He has both an undergraduate degree and a masters degree from Duquesne University, and also holds supervisory and principal certifications from Edinboro. John is a retired music teacher (Oil City) and retired organist/choir director at St. John’s Episcopal.
